Must have for nighttime diapers, but also awesome during the day July 20, 2010

We use primarily fuzzibuunz and therse are so superior to the inserts that come with them. I use these on daytime diapers but they are essential for night time. We have close to 15, I think and the older ones have torn but they are on child number 3 so that is understandable. I also like Thirsties Hemp Inserts 2 Pack, Small 6-18 Lbs which are actually a little cheaper per an insert. They hold ridiculous amounts of liquid. I strongly suggest line drying them, only because I think the dryer has torn them up a little more than necessary :) Definatley buy at least one pack of hemp inserts if you are using pocket diapers. Oh! also we have some gDiapers Little gPants, 2 Pack, Medium and I have some of these hemp liners in small that I put in those too!

I primarily use these as doublers in my son's nighttime diapers (1 hemp insert + 1 microfiber insert). It cuts way down on the bulk -- when I used 2 microfiber inserts, some of his pajamas didn't even fit! And the extra bulk caused the leg casings to gap and leak occasionally. These hemp inserts do the trick -- they are narrower in the middle, thin overall, and very absorbant. I occasionally use them as daytime inserts when I want to dress my son in a trimmer outfit (jeans, etc.). One hemp insert in a Sunbaby or BumGenius pocket diaper seems to be about the same bulk as a disposable diaper.

I bought these to use in my gdiapers because I didn't like the gdiaper brand cloth inserts and was happily surprised by how absorbent these are compared to other brands. My little one is a heavy wetter and I was having to change other brands ever hour or 2 and these ones she can go all night without a change and no leaks so far. I've heard other complain about them getting smelly because they are so absorbent but I soak them in cold water immediately after use and then put them in a wet bag until they are washed in hot then cold water and I've never had a problem. I highly recommend.

I actually purchased these large inserts to go into my daughter's Happy Heinys training pants (these are pocket trainers). I needed the extra length to help keep the insert covering the areas I needed covered most :) I use these small inserts as night time doublers in my gdiapers. They work perfectly and are a great fit. Wonderful quality, wash up and hold up very very well and are very absorbent. All in all this is a grade A diaper insert.

I think these are the trimmest, most absorbent inserts on the market! I can't recommend them enough. The small are just the right size for newborns and small infants. But, the best part is when my baby outgrew them I started using them as doublers for when we need more absorbency. And they don't add bulk. I feel like my little one can move and crawl better without all the fluff between his legs. And these are perfect for that while being "bulletproof" at the same time! Love them :)
