Great Diaper Cover September 3, 2010 Laura Harvey (Stroudsburg, PA) We decided to switch to cloth diapers because our little girl was always getting a diaper rash and we were spending up to 100 a month on diapers and wipes. A friend recomended thirsties to me and I LOVE them. Its the cheapest way to switch to cloth diapers. We have about 8 covers and maybe 30 prefolds to go in them and thats all you need! Way cheaper then all-in-ones. These are great because you can adjust the size to your little one so it grows with them! I have never had any leaks with these! The only thing is I prefer the snaps to the velcro. The snaps last longer and they dont get dingy looking near as fast! Plis no diaper chain when you pull it out of the wash! Make sure you dry them in the sun! The sun helps kill bacteria and removes those yuck stains! We use Charlies soap and LOVE it as well. This was one of the best investments we have ever made. So glad we switched to thirsties!
Works well, but runs small August 30, 2010 Kristen Nelsen I own four Thirsties Duo Wraps, size one, in addition to a few of the classic Thirsties covers, size small. I have to agree with the others that the size ones won't fit to 18 pounds. My daughter is about 14 pounds and we had to retire them this week. She is long and skinny, and they don't have enough rise to cover the prefolds. That being said, they contain poopy messes wonderfully and seem to be pretty waterproof. My only complaint is that the velcro got ragged pretty quickly. I am careful about washing them and always use the laundry tabs, but that doesn't seem to matter. I was hoping to use them for the next baby but I don't know if I'll be able. The velcro on our Baby BeeHinds and Bummis SuperBrite covers seems to be higher quality, but the tradeoff is that those covers aren't as soft and flexible as the fabric that Thirsties are made out of.
Nice cover, no leaks August 25, 2010 Lena T Russel (Palo Alto, CA) We have been using this cover for a few weeks now; its nice, no leaks and its cute.
I don't know yet if it will grow with my boy nicely, but right now it fits great - he is 18lb. I do recommend.
Great cover-no leaks August 20, 2010 Malinda Krisel (Tacoma, WA) We have been using the size ones for a while and are just moving up to size two at night with a doubler. No leaks!
We love these! August 18, 2010 hart The duo wraps fit our baby perfectly! We have not had any problems with leaks, and we use these covers over prefolds and a snappi. They are super cute and easy to use. I have been washing them along with my prefolds in hot water and drying them in the dryer for almost 2 months now and have not noticed any wear and tear. We also purchased the duo diapers (pocket style) but I am not as impressed with those, as they have leaked both pee and poo and they are always lumpy.
