 Great on leaks, bad on baby's skin September 9, 2010

These diapers were cute and awesome at preventing leaks, but horrible on our 10 month old's sensitive skin. Although they prevent leaks (we had one leak out of the whole package of diapers - day and night), they're extremely bad at keeping the moisture away from your baby's skin. Our son has never had a diaper rash until we switched to these diapers. Another thing we noticed, was that the diapers were pretty thick and stiff, so they weren't very comfortable for baby (he's constantly on the move, so these diapers aren't cut for a lot of movement). Because the diapers aren't any good at keeping moisture away from your baby's skin, you end up having to change your baby's diaper more often than normal, just to avoid a diaper rash. I honestly would rather my baby have a diaper leak instead of diaper rash. Especially since my baby has sensitive skin. Other babies with normal skin may not have the same issue. It all depends on your baby.

After another brand changed their 'super-absorbant' formula to one that caused a rash on my granddaughter, I came to Amazon to research what brand could be better. Who knew that Fisher Price was in the diaper business ? Love all of their products, so I trusted them on these. These are fabulous. The over night versions are impressive. Give them a try at Babies R Us, then stock up at Amazon !

I have an 18-month-old and have run the gauntlet of diapers so to speak. I've tried the expensive brands, the mid-price brands, the store and generic brands. For the most part I've always used the "P" brand and the "T" store brand with success, until the "P" brand caused caustic burns on my daughter just days before we were leaving for Walt Disney World in June. I had already shipped a box of diapers to our resort and found myself having to purchase Fisher Price's Happy Days and Nights because they were the only ones in her size that were in stock thus ensuring on-time delivery. I haven't used another brand since!
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that these are, by far, the most adorable diapers I've ever laid eyes on. The look of a diaper really isn't important though and I soon myself 100% impressed on how well these worked. The day time diapers held more than their fair share (we had a near blow-out at the park one day and not a single speck escaped) and the night time diapers did not leak once. Not once! No matter what brand I had used prior there was always at least a leak a week. And the price? You honestly cannot beat it for the amount of diapers you receive!
